Together with Goldcast

Webinars ain't dead. They're BOOMING — and this data proves it.

Don't let the "wEbInArS aRe DeAd" LinkedIn posts fool you.

I've hosted and planned hundreds of webinars in my career for one reason: THEY WORK.

More proof: Goldcast just dropped their annual 2025 B2B Webinar Benchmark Report. And I friggin' love this thing.

They analyzed 19,531 webinars across 418 B2B brands and uncovered

  • The best day and time to host a webinar to get 44% more attendees
  • The #1 word to include in your event title to see a 66% increase in registrations
  • The fast-rising webinar type beats nearly every benchmark metric

If you want to run better webinars this year, this is the only playbook you'll need.

See the all the data here.

I was one scroll into that Goldcast report when I saw it for the first time.

Right after the table of contents:

They embedded a custom GPT directly into the asset.

Drew Brucker is the creator and their Head of Content and Brand. He's a friend, so I texted him immediately.

You know I don't bite on AI hype.

But this is legit. Everyone and their mom is obsessed with using it to create content. This is the first time I've seen a brand upload their long-form content into GPT to improve consumption.

And I love it for many reasons. Here are two of them:

1) I don't have to read the whole thing to get 100% of the value

I've written a lot of long-form articles and reports. Packed 'em with tactics, fire copy, and "aha" moments galore.

And guess what.

Most people don't read more than 10%.

That might feel like wasted effort as a marketer. But that doesn't mean these reports have less value or aren't worth doing.

Because consider this: Is your goal to get them to read a lot of words, or get a lot of value?

Wow'ing people isn't about how much they read, it's about how much they remember.

And research reports like this are all about earning credibility and mindshare.

If your reader reads one paragraph — or reads none but uses the GPT instead — they still win.

And that means you win too.

2) It makes it easy to find and reference.

Drew said it himself: People don't have to go looking for the report if they have this in their GPT sidebar.

Which, now I do.

Drew thought about what happens after the download. God forbid their report gets downloaded, skimmed once, then never seen again.

Goldcast is now embedded in the most popular AI tool in the world, making it easy to access, understand, and reference repeatedly.

Just I like I did here.

Now I have new, reliable data on hand to help me and my clients produce the best possible webinars.

Goldcast is playing the long game here. And I LOVE it.

They want to help you run better webinars with this asset (long-term value) — not just get as many people as possible to download (short-term gain).

That's a fast track to making people LOVE your brand.

And that will keep them coming back for more.

Holler at you later,
Devin

PS: If you're using AI in cool ways to grow your content, audience, and brand — shoot it over. I'm in "always learning" mode when it comes to adding AI to my content strategy.
